I believe 100% that the airport should remain as such but I don't think that the town should own it. We already own too much in this town and can't properly take care of it. I think that the politics of this town will royally screw up a good thing with town ownership.
I hope that the readers of my posts do not get tired of my comments but this is our town and my town. These are important issues that every taxpayer should be concerned with. We have to stop the good ole boys, back room behind closed doors politics.
Remember how the informed taxpayers saved the town more than $2,000,000.00 by voting the Toffolon project down two times, which allowed the spend thrift board of education to get just about everything that they wanted and more.
If your concerns are as great as mine, please consider joining the newly formed taxpayers association for the citizens of Plainville in order for us to have a voice that will be heard. There is strenght in numbers and together we can make change for the better.
I agree with Mr Kisluk, leave the airport alone. It will become a money pit that us tax papers will be expected to foot.Just like everything else in this spend thrift town.
