During the opening reception May 2 for the annual Plainville students art exhibition, Tim Little, a senior at Plainville High School, stands next to his poster, “Feast your eyes on a good book,” that he created on a computer. His poster is one of more than 100 works created by Plainville students in grades kindergarten through 12th. The exhibit will be at the Plainville Public Library, 56 E. Main St., throughout May.
Tea with Shakespeare

The Plainville Senior Citizens Center, 200 East St., and the Friends of the Plainville Public Library are co-sponsoring Tea with Shakespeare on Saturday, March 15, at 2 p.m., at the library, 56 E. Main St. Richard Clark will star in this solo performance of Shakespeare’s “greatest hits.” He will portray 12 different characters, and deliver 25 monologues and soliloquies from Shakespeare’s most famous plays. Following the show, refreshments and tea will be served. Pick up a free ticket at the library or the senior center.
